Why is loving humanity a way to wisdom? (speech format)

 

                                       1 Step for being a successful human being

        Humanity. Humanity makes us human. Cambridge states that humanity is understanding and showing kindness towards people, and in this modern era, every single school on this planet teaches its students about what humanity is and that humanity should be shown by us whenever possible. Our teachers say that humanity makes us wiser and humanity is one of the several stepping stones for us to lead a successful life. But how does it make us wiser and how will it lead us to success?  

        So, I am here to answer all of these intriguing questions and to share a piece of my newly acquired knowledge with you. But before we proceed, what is wisdom? Is it studies, or is it knowledge? No. Wisdom is the ability to use your knowledge and experience to make good decisions and judgments. Wisdom is how you use the knowledge which you have gained from several sources.

       When we put others' needs and priorities before ours and it satisfies us and the others, then that is a form of humanity. When it’s their turn, then they will do the same to us by giving us more priority and importance. These types of acts make us wiser day by day as we understand that if we do something, no matter whether it is good or bad, we get the same reply by other people too. We can relate this to the principle of ‘give respect and take respect’. 

        Everything which we do gives us knowledge and eventually will lead us to become wise if we use the knowledge in the right way. When we are open-minded, we listen to other people and understand them and this is also a form of humanity. When we are listening, we may also come across some mistakes they had done in their life and how it was a turning point in their life. We tend not to do the same mistakes in our lives, as we don’t want to suffer the same consequences. So here too we acquired some knowledge and we applied that in our lives as it will benefit us in the future and we can be successful in our life. 

        But on the contrary, if we don’t have humanity, then we will end up like the person who was called for the CEO interview. Let me narrate to you the story. That person was very intelligent and he had a good CV but still lost the chance of becoming the CEO of a multinational company just because he was rude to the company driver. Though he had finished the interview with flying colors, the committee didn’t approve of him as he had no humanity in him. That is why loving humanity is a way to wisdom.

        So people with, credentials, knowledge, and strong personality without humanity cannot achieve accolades in life. So therefore if we love humanity, then we will become wise as well as successful in our life. Strong people stand up for themselves, but stronger people stand up for themselves and others.
