 ICE CRYSTALS

I was walking along the icy snow glazed path on the hills of Bhutan when

suddenly, a natural, phenomenal beauty caught my eye. I was bewitched by the

breathtaking view of the ice crystals that had formed in the small rocky hollow in

the walls of the frosty mountain. A moment later, I just knew that I had to share

this incredible scene with my kith and kins, so I decided to take a snap of this

beauty which is rarely noticed by people. ‘Nature has its own way of sculpting

things to show its eternal beauty’, just like these tender, delicate crystals.

WATERFALL

I was walking along the foothills of the mountain where the infamous tigers' nest is

located when this impeccable sight caught my view. I was amazed to see such a

beautiful view. I took this picture to show the world, that we can survive in this

materialistic world by preserving nature instead of destroying it, like the people in

Bhutan. Hats-off to the people who help preserve these immaculate beauties stay

exquisite, and I hope you are inspired too to preserve Mother Nature.

SONAM

In the winter, Bhutan’s temperature drops up to 1 degree Celsius in the mornings

and a harsh -13 degrees in the freezing cold nights. The world tends to dress up in warm

jeans and fuzzy fur coats if they ever face such wintry conditions, but the paradox

here is that, these Bhutanese dress up in their traditional clothes with only a thin

layer of thermals covering their hands and their hands. When Bhutanese can

survive in such extreme, in-human conditions in their clothing, I think we can survive

in traditional wear too, but in normal temperatures, right? I took this picture of my

guide, to inspire people to put on their traditional wear more often, and for them to

indulge more in traditional activities, rather than hooking up with their electronic

gadgets. Remember, that wearing traditional clothes does not mean that we are not

being modern enough for this world.

PARO RIVER

Have you ever put your hand into the river? Many would say that they have swum in

rivers let alone the fact that they only immerse their hand in it. Dipping our hand in

a river is no big deal, right? But it is, in this particular river. I was spellbound when

I put my hand in this river. It is magnificent at how cold a river can get. This river

is named Paro River (located in Bhutan) and is 6 degrees Celsius in temperature.

The river is formed by the water which comes from the melting glaciers in the

snowy Himalayas. This picture was clicked by me as I wanted to show this natural,

exotic wonder to all. My friends were awestruck when they heard me out. ‘Nature

has its own ups and downs, wonders, and ennui; it just depends on how we look at

it. It depends on our perspective’.

BUDHA

This magnificent wonder resides in the peaceful hills of Bhutan. I visited this

spectacular monument when I visited Bhutan on Christmas 2019 and when I saw

how these people lived in this technological world while respecting their religion

and culture, I had to take a snapshot to show others. I think these people should be

role models for the whole world; to show them how to respect your religions

and be successful in this materialistic world. ‘Respecting religion, tradition, culture

and other people is one of the numerous stepping stones to success’.
